Stories that remember each other
Most story apps hand you a stranger every time. Here, the friend your child met on Monday is still there on Thursday, and still remembers what they did together.

Questions parents ask
Is Nightstory safe for young kids?
Yes, by construction. Your child never chats with anything: you get a finished storybook, written within guardrails we set as parents. No fear, no peril, no villains, and every story winds down to a calm, sleepy ending. You can always read it first yourself.
What ages is it for?
Ages 2 to 10. You tell us the age once and every story adjusts: simpler words and shorter pages for toddlers, richer adventures for bigger kids.
Isn't a screen bad right before sleep?
Nightstory is built for you to read aloud, the way you'd read any book. The reader uses a dim, warm night mode, and narration lets you set the phone face-down and just listen. No notifications, no autoplay, nothing designed to keep anyone awake.
How is this different from a storybook we own?
Tonight's story stars your child: their name, their age, the things they love right now. And unlike any book, the stories remember each other. Characters return, adventures get referenced, and bedtime becomes a world that grows up with them.
Where do the stories come from?
Each one is written fresh for your child by our story engine, inside strict rules we wrote as parents: gentle plots, kind resolutions, calm endings. Nothing is recycled from other families, and your child's details are never used for anything else.
What does it cost?
Your first stories are free, with no account and no card. Nightstory Plus is $9 a month or $79 a year for a new chapter every night, which works out to about 22¢ a bedtime.
